A Slower Perspective
As you journey through the world’s unknowns, make space for newness: new people, practices, beliefs, rhythms, twists and turns. Change, highs, and lows—they can all be difficult to accept and maneuver. Remaining open and curious (with healthy boundaries, of course) will be your solace. Remember this as you continue journeying, and consider reading the following story about how you can take care of yourself through it all:
What’s Worth Consuming
Article: “Embracing Change and Stepping Into What’s Possible” explains how to navigate seasons of change with an open mind.
Creator: Evolving Spiritually is a personal growth channel founded by Kayla C. Leday-Poole, offering energy readings and real-life vlogs. Documenting her current journey through homelessness with her family, her vlogs show how she remains grounded through it all. There, you’ll find inspiration to stay open to the unknown while remaining connected to your higher self and finding gratitude in even the smallest wins.
Music: ‘Somewhere New’ by UMI describes the exact feeling of being hopeful and anxious about not knowing what’s coming next while heading into a new chapter of life.
Meditation: Sit down with this affirmation meditation when you need a reminder that you are still worthy, even during huge life transitions.
Quote: “Sometimes we can only find our true direction when we let the wind of change carry us.” – Mimi Novic and “It’s humbling to start fresh. It takes a lot of courage. But it can be reinvigorating. You just have to put your ego on a shelf and tell it to be quiet.” – Jennifer Ritchie Payette
A Thoughtful Ritual for This Week
Leave one thing open: This week, intentionally leave one small space unplanned. It could be an empty evening, an unread book waiting on your coffee table, a walk without headphones, or a weekend afternoon without a to-do list. Instead of filling every moment with productivity or certainty, allow yourself a pocket of openness. Notice what naturally finds you there; it could be a conversation, an idea, a feeling, a new route home, or simply a deeper sense of peace. Not every open space needs to become something extraordinary. Sometimes its greatest gift is reminding us that life can still surprise us.
Tiny Shifts to Consider
Take a different route during your daily walk or commute and notice something you’ve never seen before.
Say yes to one experience this week that you would normally overthink (within your comfort and safety, of course).
Ask yourself, “What if this change is happening for me instead of simply to me?” and notice what shifts.
A Prompt for Your Sunday Reset
As we enter this next week, we hope you feel empowered to be open to new beginnings. If it’s too hard a task for you, try journaling or asking yourself:
Which version of myself is quietly asking for more room? What would become possible if I trusted myself more than my fear? Where in my life am I craving something new? What would I make space for if I trusted that something beautiful could grow there? What small beginning feels exciting, even if it’s also a little uncomfortable? If I believed I couldn’t get this next chapter wrong, what would I try?
